7th Grade English
Gemma joined Summit Public Schools in 2016 as a member of the Summit Tutoring Corps, an Americorps program. She spent the 2017 – 2018 school year as a teacher resident with the Summit Learning Teacher Residency program, where she student taught at Summit Shasta in their 12th grade AP Literature and Composition classroom. Gemma is thrilled to join the Tamalpais community and put her experience in personalized learning to use as she supports our 7th graders in developing skills as readers, writers, speakers, and ultimately, critical thinkers. Gemma earned a BA in Psychology with minors in International Studies and Sociology from the University of Denver, and holds a teaching credential in Secondary English.
