Ms. Moshovsky is thrilled to be joining the Summit Tamalpais team because she truly believes in social emotional learning and a project based model to help empower and support the student learner as a whole. While completing her degree in biology at Smith College, Ms Moshovsky headed a team researching behavioral differences between male and female rodents, and after earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College. During her college experience, she also had the opportunity to research elephant behavior through firsthand observations during a semester long study of African wildlife in Northern Tanzania. Ms. Moshovsky has worked as an intern for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as a researcher of microbiology, as well as at the Wildlife Safari in Southern Oregon as a carnivore keeper. She will work to impart critical thinking and problem solving skills that will benefit students even outside of the science context.
